Biography
©Saz Born in Japan, Yumiko Yokoi studied composition, music theory and orchestration at the Kunitachi College of Music in Tokyo, at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, then completed her training of composition and electronics in master's degree at the Haute École de Musique de Genève. She also followed the computer music course at IRCAM in 2009-10. She participated to the Centre Acanthes, Journées Contrechamps, Académie Musicale de Villecroze, Voix Nouvelles de la Fondation Royaumont, and she is invited to numerous festivals like Musica de Strasbourg (France), Archipel de Genève (Switzerland), Suntory Hall Summer Festival (Japan), INTER/actions (Bangor University, UK), Takefu International Music Festival (Japan), Collecting Time - Dohjidai Gallery (Switzerland), Exploring the World Project (Wien, Austria), Aspects des Musiques d'Aujourd'hui (Caen, France), Festival Présences (Frontenay, France), etc. Her works are broadcast on Radio Suis...
